WAYS YOU CAN HELP
There are several ways you can get involved, please see below and choose the option that is best for you. Other wise, you can also help greatly by sharing this website link within your social media accounts or personal websites:
BOOKS
We accept new or preowned books. If you are in the Houston area, we can pick them up. All books must be picture books.

You can also help us by doing book drives in your school or neighborhood.
​
All books will be used for purposes of promoting children literacy in different ways. Most of the books will go the Gambia project, others will be given to children in the local area, and others will help promote the project thru the Instagram account @Sira_loves_books.
Bilingual books in Spanish are also accepted. Those are also sent to children in need of books in Mexico.
SUPPLIES
Donating supplies is another way you can contribute to this cause.
We have created a list of the things that we need in order to keep our project going.

Most of the supplies will be used for packing books, other for organization purposes and paperwork.

CASH
If you preferred to do a monetary donation, your contribution will go directly into buying supplies and other expenses related to the project.
​
We are also planning, once we find consistent funding, to create side jobs for woman in The Gambia, by providing them with a remuneration in exchange for helping us distribute the books.
​Monetary donations can also be used to purchase pre-owned books in big quantities if book donations are low.
TIME
If you live in the Houston Area, there are opportunities to volunteer.
​
Moms of teenagers can encourage them to come help us pack books. It is an opportunity for them to experience first-hand a project that focuses on helping others.
