We hope to help her learn that helping others is not just a moment but a life style. We also hope to inspire others to find their own life-long projects that will help change the world into a better place for all.

From Houton to The Gambia

Hello,! We are a family of three living in Houston TX, USA. Our heritage is from Mexico, The Gambia, and our daughter born in the United States. We strongly believe that education is the root to a better society, a stronger community, greater quality of life and a much needed world peace and acceptance for diversity. We also know that in many countries and cultures, getting an education is a challenge if not impossible.

The "Books for Gambia" project is based on all the research that leads to prove that early exposure to books will bring better opportunities in adulthood. It is our wish to bring this research results into action in one of the countries where literacy is only at 51%.
